Post Graduate Department

The Department of Post Graduate Studies ad Research in Commerce and First Year Students organised a farewell ceremony for the final year students of Master of Commerce on 22-05-207. The adieu was full of excitement of entering into a new matured and professional world, but also mixed with a pain of departing from the alma mater. The even was graced by the presence of the Coordinator Prof. Ramesh Kulai whose paternalistic approach of concern and care was well appreciated by the students. Students appreciated all the faculty, specially Mr. Shailraj who use to encourage and support them in all the positive endeavours.  For more photos, click here . 

The PG Department organised an event Cooking Without Fire on 23-3-2017 at the Department of Post Graduate Studies and Research in Commerce. All the students actively participated in the event and it was well appreciated by the participants. For more photos, please click here: 

A soft skill training on personality development was conducted by Jyothi Shetty to the M.Com Previous Year Students of Dept. of Post Graduate Studies and Research in Commerce. The programme was well appreciated by the students.

The Post Graduate Department of Govinda Dasa College, Surathkal conducted Road Safety Programme on 31-01-2017 in collaboration with Police Department of Dakshina Kannada District. The Traffic Police Department conducted the programme for the benefit of students of Post Graduate Centre. Prof. Ramesh Kulai, Coordinator of the Commerce Post Graduate Centre, Mr. Karthik of Post Graduate Department of Chemistry also spoke on this occasion. An orientation programme to the PG Department of Chemistry was held on 08.01.2017 in the Post Graduate Department of Chemistry.Dr. Muralidhar Rao, Principal and Mr. Karthik, faculty, Department of Chemistry, GD, Surathkal participated as resource person.
