The College Library and Department of Humanities of Govinda Dasa College, Surathkal organised  an unique event titled, “Pusthaka Preethi Spardhe” on  17.01.2018 at College Library. Dr. Sureshramana Mayya has been appointed as Director of Post Graduate Department and Research in Commerce. He has taken over the charge on 3rd January 2018. Before joining the PG Centre, he worked as Head, Department of Commerce at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial College, Udupi. Dr. Sureshramana Mayya hails from Heroor, Kasaragod District. He completed his BBM in 1980 from Poornaprajna College, Udupi with First Class. He completed his M. Com in Personal Management and Industrial Relations from Mangalore University, M.Phil. with distinction (1996), PhD (2003) from Mangalore University under the guidance of Dr. Yashavantha Dongre.
